Hi Andy, thanks for the wild pics! we must have been crazy.. did you get any down wind shots as we were plaining hard at one point!!

No sorry, I've posted all the ones that are viewable..!!!!
90% of what I took are of the water or the sky....!!!!!!! OD2 was tossing around like a cork.. and I have the bruises to prove it...I kept smacking myself in the face with the camera.<lol>

Ouch! in your last message to me you said you'll be keeping you camera in its bag unless it gets interesting......well, always be carefull what you wish for and tempt fate . Superb pics, hope the camera survived

There were some really great photo opportunities, but Sods law is that they always happen upwind of me, and I can only shoot downwind, otherwise the lens gets covered in spray or rain..
I would love to get some really exciting shots and close ups etc, but there are big constraints on what I can do... Firstly OD2's prime objective is to support OD1.. and to keep a close eye on the fleet in case anyone gets into difficulties, so the camera only comes out when we're not tied up doing other things.. Secondly we have to respect the fact that it is a race, not a photographic assignment.. so we have to keep our distance, and not distract, or (God forbid) get in anyones way.. We even have to be careful not to make a wake near any of the racing boats..
