Hi All

In case you missed them on the tweets, the dates for the Windermere Marina Village Open Sailing Regatta for the coming season are as follows:

April 30th
May 21st
July 9th
August 20th
September 17th

All races are held on a Saturday with a start time of 1330hrs, as in previous years. Out of the 5 races this year, 4 will count. The racing and results are kindly organised for us by the fantastic Windermere Cruising Association.

Hi All

Just to let you know that we have changed the August date due to a clash with a Beneteau event. The dates are as follows:

1. Saturday 30th April
2. Saturday 21st May
3. Saturday 9th July
4. Saturday 10th September
5. Saturday 24th September

Out of the 5 races this season 3 will count, so if you can't make a couple of dates you can still do well.

Sorry for the alteration and any inconvenice caused but its likely that a number of you will want to do the Beneteau event also.

Hi All

The first WMV regatta is scheduled for Saturday 30th April with a start time of 13.30hrs in the North or South Lake, depending on the conditions on the day. Call the office on Saturday morning to check the location and i'll also tweet it. We have new lake maps displaying the race marks if you need them and new numbers for each boat, which need to be displayed for identification by the WCA Race Control Boat.

Hi All

After the cancellation of WMV Regatta 2, we are hoping the weather will be kind tomorrow, Saturday 9th July, for the next one.

WCA will confirm in the morning where the race will be held, North or South lake, and i'll also tweet it.

With one race Canceled is that just 4 races now and if so then how many to count??

Hi All

It's the 4th of our WMV regattas at the weekend (Saturday 10th) and the final one on Saturday 24th. As race 2 was cancelled we will be counting 2 results towards the overall results (hopefully out of 4).

Fingers crossed the weather will improve a bit and we can have a good day on Saturday.
